  • About Dr. Fischer, Ph.D, LP, CIMHP, ADHD – CCSP

    Dr. Fischer is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, a Certified Integrative Mental Health Provider (CIMHP), and ADHD Specialist (ADHD – CCSP) and a Child Mental Health Specialist.

    She earned her MS in 2004 and her PhD in 2006 from Alliant International University in San Diego, CA.  She is licensed in the states of Minnesota and Washington.  Dr. Fischer is also holds a PSYPACT license which allows her to provide telehealth services to individuals throughout the United States.  She is currently licensed to provide telehealth in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Commonwealth of the Mariana Islands, Delaware, District of Columbia, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kanas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, or Wisconsin.

    Experience and Expertise

    Dr. Fischer has extensive experience working with individuals who are in the process of bariatric surgery.   She provides pre-surgical bariatric evaluations, education, and preparation.  She has extensive experience working with post op bariatric patients. In 2004, Dr Fischer started working with patients struggling with eating disorders, such as bulimia and binge eating disorder.  She has worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, partial hospitalization programs, residential, outpatient clinics, and private practice setting.

    Dr. Fischer began conducting cognitive assessments for those struggling with learning disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity (ADHD), and other cognitive disorders during her internship in 2004.  She has expertise and certification in ADHD evaluations and treatments for both children and adults.

    Dr. Fischer is a former Adjunct Facility at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.  She is certified to provide supervision to unlicensed therapists in the States of Minnesota and Washington.  She is a Child Mental Health Specialist in the State of Washington.

    One of Dr. Fischer’s specialties is bariatrics.  She is passionate about helping to prepare patients who are pursuing bariatric surgery by educating them about life post surgery while conducting pre-surgical evaluations.  She also provides them with necessary post-operative care.

    Dr. Fischer also works with adults, adolescents, and children, conducting psychological assessments to diagnosis mental health disorders, such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning disorders, executive functioning disorders, memory and cognitive evaluations, academic evaluations, and other assessments.
